I've got my mix setting in the fridge, can of white albacore, mayo, salt, pepper, franks red hot, celery, chives and deli mustard with a chopped dill pickle. I'll let that sit for 20 minutes and then put it on a nice bun with slices of cheddar on both sides, and bake for about 10 minutes, pics to follow.

Light tuna is better for you.

Solid white albacore all the way, I don't know the facts, but I know that's the nutritional info, but I know that's the only canned shit that tastes like not cat food.

You lost me with the deli mustard......but sounds downright DELICIOUS outside of that.

Going to toast the bun first?

Light tuna has more fish oil in it, which is good for you.

In Quebec a few years ago, I found smoked light tuna fillets. They were awesome. Came across the exact same thing at WholeFoods a couple of years later, but they cost 4 times as much. :pie:

Bake it when it's all put together, and trust me, next time you mix up tuna, put mustard in it, it's awesome. Doesn't have to be deli.

Well we're talking canned here, not fillets, that's a whole other hockey game.

I find that on fresh buns, the bread gets too mushy if you don't pre-toast it.

I'll even pre-toast an english muffin - which is my preference for a good melt, just for texture.

I'm out on the mustard......btw. I hate mustard the way that Chriza hates ketchup.

I love tuna sandwiches, but I'm not a big fan of the tuna melt.
