Is it between Dan Marino and Jim Brown?

I don't know much about American Football , but google considers those two guys the best.

I'm very biased but I'd vote Payton.

Difficult to answer, but I believe Jerry Rice changed the game not only for wide receivers, but all NFL players.

Used to be a player could sit around and do nothing for four months until training camp. Rice was one of those players who trained intensely year round, setting the stage for the way players now train in the offseason.

I don't like the fact that he was critical of Tom Brady, and then come to find out he used "stickum" on his gloves, but Rice is still probably the best WR, if not all around player, in league history
