It seems so disorganized and illogical. Have a song parody page-current events page, TV show page---etc. Maybe I'm missing something, but if it were done properly would Howard ever have to ask where anything is?

There was a thread at the old place about this with screen shots. Made sense at the time. Its organization was based on the software itself.

The guys dont have a choice. Howard always has "so much to get to".

If he asks for something out of the clear blue and the guys dont answer him within 2 seconds, he throws a shit fit and say Nevermind, too late.

"Ugh, i gotta fire some people around here."

Has anyone ever heard this "Page2/Page3" crap mentioned on other radio shows? Ever?
    Mad Dog?
    Imus?
    Rush?
    Boomer & Carton?

Or is it just Howard that uses this format for pulling up clips?

The best thing about their shitty clip organization is that Scott The Engineer can delete any and all clips with the click of his mouse. That's like letting Ronnie be the director if the FBI, CIA, NSA, and DHS.

that's why I'm asking, I know a lot of shows aren't so clip heavy, but there should be a way for things to be found without asking for them :dontknow:

I assumed it was based on Fred's old cart system.

    Perhaps it's compatible with LotusNotes.

Probably the same retard who thinks using Lotus Notes in 2013 is a good idea.

Howard came up with that mess I'm sure. I can picture the meeting where Howard described the system he wanted to the people who had to implement it, everyone with their heads down, embarrassed at how stupid he is, afraid to push back because he's so insecure, knowing it's an absurd way to organize anything that only a dimwitted megalomaniac would come up.

    How ya been hon?
My guess is this is Howard's way to show he's just one of us guys that is clueless as to where things are kept. Or At first it made sense to have everything Gary approved on a gary page, everything sal and richard did on their own page, ect. Howard didn't stop to think about having so many clips that it would be impossible for him to remember who gave him what bit to play so he'd have no idea where to look.

Fred's cart system was the same as all DJ's back then. A wall of 8 tracks that were loops. You had to litterally read the end of the cart pull it out and plug it into the cart machine to play it

Same goes for Robin's news clips. He said one day the numbers and letters arent needed anymore, but claimed thats what the fans wanted to hear... Like when they first moved to sirius and gary's speaker was crystal clear... Howard had it changed to the way it was in the old building because 'the fans dont like how it sounds now.'

He had a system to his pile though. Howard complained that Fred was always late to after show meetings because he wouldn't let the interns put away his carts.
