He was a brilliant actor...golden globe..oscar...type of actor
he took a break from filming walking tall 2 and the fast and the furious 6.
He started cooking again & wanted everyone to smell it.
i still can't smell what he's cooking
He wanted a fat paycheck for doing 2 of the biggest PPVs, Survivor Series and Wrestlemania 28. Perhaps he wanted to relive his old glory days from 1996
what the hell was he thinking when he wore that outfit???
It's about the Benjamins.
Rock remembers where he came from. As a wwe fan who longs for the 97-02 era I couldn't be happier.
Those were the days. I remember how much I (and basically every male) hated the rock until he turned bad in the summer of 97.
For anyone too young to remember 96 era Rock, take the negative view of John Cena as a cornball who caters to kiddies, and multiply it by 10.
There were plenty of of "Die Rocky" signs back in the day
I was decked out head to toe in NWO gear so missed Rocks early stuff in WWF. Haven't followed wrasslin in a long time but he must be back for the money. Is Shane O Mac still around?
Vince owns all those mother fuckers, it's probably part of a contract that let him go make movies and shit.
Thank god the NWO was kicking into gear in WCW around the same time Rocky Maivia and the Ringmaster (Stone Cold Steve Austin) were stinking up the WWF thanks to Vince's cartoonish character development group
The Rock was entering Hogan types movie cred, which, if I remember correctly, he said in an interview didnt want to do - when the Scorpion King came out, he was rising fast, then a cataclysmic fall, so I dont blame him for heading back to the WWE.
Oh and can't forget the fucking Connecticut blueblood himself HHH in his fucking fox hunting ring attire the same time as Maivia and Ringmaster were stinking
Don't worry about him. His latest movie is doing even better than Private Parts did. He seems to like to keep in touch with his wrestling roots, and I'm sure he's being paid well by Vince.

I sort of bought his comeback speech if you YouTube a copy. He wants to flex the wrestling skills a little more now that he's established an acting career, I guess.
PLUS benjamins. I'm just saying there seems to be a certain amount of genuine want to shine. Check out his Survivor Series comeback match. I was big attitude era kid, and I do not remember the Rock ever wrestling with that kind of pure physical ability before in my life.
He forgot what Vince's cock tastes like.
