Was that a mistake?
I did. Three times. I regret nothing.
I've attended three different colleges. I just regret that none of them resulted in a degree. I fucked around my first couple of years and then could only go part time when I finally got serious. If I ever get the money and time, I'd like to finish.
Tell me more.
Nah man, I don't eat dragon.
Unless you know out of high school what you want to do for the rest of your life college is a colossal waste of time and money.
It was for me. I know a couple of kids who are graduating high school and they're getting apprenticeships. That would have been better for an unfocused dolt like me.
Class of 2000 thank you
Plus I really lost focus in high school after we did this job inventory test to see what careers we would be most suited for and I got "tile sorter" and "metal presser." My retardation had reared its ugly head.
I still don't know what I want to do when I grow up.
School blows and I could never afford it. I'm doing just fine without it
I'm one semester away from graduating with a degree in Urban Horticulture. I already have one in Liberal Studies.
The first two years of college were a total waste for me. I had no direction and zero support from my academic advisor who was an old lady who was probably just counting down the days to retirement. I did get my degree but have I used it in any of my jobs? No. I still think of going to get my masters and maybe teaching but that is taking a big chance and also taking out a lot of loans.
Gwart , you just want to dance
One of the things that keeps me from going back is group work. I hate that.
Public Administration for me.
What would you teach?
I've been passed over lots in my field due to no degree. Most of the promotions I've gotten are because prior to the promotion, I took classes that fit that job.
