I love the open source OS from Android. Amd what developers can do with custom roms.
Was given an iPhone 6 from work recently and I can say I'm not really a fan.

Fan boys on each side, to each their own

I got my Galaxy Note 1 in Feb. 2012 and I'm still using it now! I only needed to change the battery last year because it got old.

I've had my s5 for over two years and I love it. Longest lasting cell I've had. I would've upgraded by now, but it's the only pda that I know of that has both a removable battery and a SD card. Both options are very important to me.

That's my situation exactly. It has the removable card and battery and it works fine. I did a factory reset a few months ago and it's like a brand new phone out of the box.

I'm of the belief that nothing new with phones is out there that would make an upgrade worthwhile.

A removable battery and a SD card are paramount. I have three batteries and a couple of wall chargers for them. I never go without due to a dead battery and the SD card is perfect for the work I do. I can't believe more companies don't produce pda's with those two options.

LG G and V series also have removable battery and SD slot. They have a better interface over Android than Samsung.

I'll keep that in mind, thanks.
I'm not crazy about android, but that's more because of the updates. I had a iphone for years and I hated it. Apple are a bunch of nazis. They only let you do what the want you to do. If it was feasible, I'd try linux. I always wanted a Linux box.
