It's almost always about money.
I've not noticed this Phenomena. I usually don't discuss finances with people of that ilk.
It happens with rich people too, but you're right- it's usually about the money.
This chick just got all pissy because I was "bragging" about traveling last year because she doesn't 'have money to travel like that". I told her that once she starts squirting out babies she's gonna have way less money than she does now. Can you guess what her response was?
No almost. It's always money.
Money is everything
Money is not our God
because they don't know
People say that as self-justification.
Plus, we get weird messages about how we should want money, but wanting money is bad.
The difference I've noticed between my contemporaries who are still losers/poor and those who are not is that the poor do lot listen to advice. They think all advice is worthless, and they don't ever question their own decisions. Their fates are sealed.
This. They have all of these preconceived notions about how the world works and they're not open to any evidence to the contrary. They're basically their own worst enemy.
I like money.
We all like money, you just can't let the pursuit of it take over your life though.
I've never heard anyone say that.
What is "it?" If it is all about money...?
get money dummy
