Seriously why?? It's very confusing what system to use

also why do non supporting members have a chance to "neg" or give a thumbs down to a post when they never paid a dime

the system is flawed IMO :coffee:

    get rid of the thumbs

one is for ~ Schmoopy to solicit gay sex privately, the other is to publicly show your liking of a post. :mrpeanut:

I've wondered if the feature could be turned off for non-supporters...SFN trolls are apparently having big laughs "down-thumbing" good posters 24-7 (like NotMyBro, Laser, etc.). I gotta think dawg thought about it and would if he could.

I like the thumbs and here's why.

Say you have a new member to the board. He says something that amuses you and you're maxxed out on reps. You rep him and he's shot way up there even though he only has 17 posts. By the same token, maybe he doesn't deserve to be in shitpiles either.
With the thumbs you can show you liked or disliked his comment, and he can see who sent it as well. :D

I agree w/ Spazz, plus I enjoy reps as like a way to drop a text to someone, when a PM would be too much effort.

    get rid of the medals.
Since Dawg? changed their value- you can now earn a full rack of medals with just one approval- they are meaningless

they have same value, it's just that so many people have max rep power.
