Howard LOVES bulling Star Wars nerds in costumes.. and I never understood why since a large chunk of his fan base love Star Wars.

    Here is an old example

    * Since Howard now uses the word Bully instead of Goofing hence the title

Because Howard Stern believes that people who dress up in costumes to attend conventions for TV shows and movies are a bit crazy. And make for way better radio than going to an appliance convention and talking to folks shopping for new ovens or refrigerators.

Because he thinks belittling others makes him 'edgy'.

Not everyone can be a cool guy like Howard, who spends his weekends getting manicures, taking pictures of kittens and figuring out which scarf to wear when it's 90 degrees outside.

Their obsession reminds him of his neverending quest to make his beard look attractive.

He enjoys bullying because he was bullied his whole life and now he finally has an identifiable group that he can bully and feel superior over. He also thinks that all these fans who dress up in costumes are fucking losers (I think I agree with him there).

Howard is jealous that after 20+ years Star Wars still has rabid fans. He remembers way back when he used to have dedicated fans too.

You know, that's a really great analogy. George became full of himself, took complete screen writing and directorial control, sold out first by having Ewoks instead of Wookies in Jedi, and then ruined his legacy with shit like Howard the Duck and the second trilogy. I guess the post 2007 years are Sterns version of the prequels, and getting rid of Jackie, Billy and Artie was the equivalent of Lucas shitcanning Gary Kurtz?

Also, for any non-Star Wars fans, this article explains what I'm talking about. http://herocomplex.latimes.com/movi...2-filmmakers-george-lucas-and-gary-kurtz-wer/ Goddamn I would've liked to see that version of Jedi, with Luke as a Man With No Name esque wanderer in a bleak, wartorn universe.

If there was a convention for The Bachlorette Wigward would be first in line, dressed as the winner from season 2.
