Why does Howard treat his radio show and AGT as if it were the same thing?

Howard confuses the complaint about him not being on the radio enough (working 2-3 days a week) with not working enough in general, and then goes on to answer that complaint by saying he's busier than ever with all this AGT stuff and that he's not slacking off, etc.

And then Howard keeps saying how "his fans" are the one's that keep showing up to these AGT shows, or that he's the one that brought the crowds over, relating it to his book signings in the 90's. But when you watch the videos, you can see they are obviously either fans of AGT (young kids or the elderly) or bought and paid for crowd fillers/extras.

Because Howard thinks that everything he does is God's gift to humanity.

He is too stupid to realize that his show has a slice of the ratings that he thinks it does....that the AGT ratings will not be record breaking...and that his show itself blows

He treats AGT much more importantly, not the same at all.
