He would be chasing wildebeest with a speer and a bone through his nose if not for white people.

    Why is he so angry?

it was funny hearing him yammer on about how he isn't going to give the press anything to write about. he barely speaks english and thinks that that isn't of interest.

they usually pretend to love all people when they money run out and they need a gig greeting mother fuckers in vegas.

Just watched him on Conan. Came off loveable.

Just seems to hate sports media with their endless repetitive questions, expecting the same cliched answers and the NFL for forcing him to play along with the nonsense.

agreed, except he signed a contract agreeing to play along with the nonsense, and he cashes the checks for it.

His contract's for playing football. The league requires all sorts of lame shit, doesn't mean you have to like it.

I know I'm not alone in longing for the golden days of football - real characters, no prescribed storylines, etc.

Advertising dollars have taken the league to ridiculous financial highs, but the sport and its players have lost their edge.

I don't believe it's racial, especially since he stonewalled Neon Deion when he tried to sneak a question in thinking he'd get preferential treatment. Rather, IMO, it's a combination of a social inadequacy/discomfort pathology and his intended blowback as an object lesson to Csar Goodell and the league for all the previous fines.

On each team there are 52 other players and a myriad of coaches who mostly are delighted to share their opinions with the mass media. Case in point, Richard Sherman, a Stanford grad, when given the same opportunity has rightfully asked why Goodell who has had a lot to answer to this season from Rice to Greg Hardy to deflategate and more, is mute instead of being compelled to conduct a daily Superbowl week Q and A.

    WGAS? WGAF? Honestly?

I could care less if ANY of those players speak to the media ever again.

Want more of Peyton Manning blandly droning on and on?

How about the "my teammates were the ones that made this possible" or "I just want to thank my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ" bites that are the cliched responses to just about EVERY question?

These guys are paid to run, catch, throw, kick, and tackle. They weren't taking speech/diction classes (or apparently English) classes in college. I cringe when these guys have mics shoved in their faces. It's embarassing.

I remember when Alabama last won the National Championship (sorry, @rolltide) and they interviewed LB Rolando McClain. I couldn't believe that they didn't use subtitles, because he clearly wasn't speaking any form of English that I'd ever heard, and I speak Jive!
