Jap culture is cool
Sushi ? Love it and have posted pics of my meal
Either you love it or you get yuk mouth about the thought of eating raw fish.
This. $50 dinner for two last week. But, it was delicious.
killing dolphins and feeding them to school children or the used womens underwear in vending machines?
I told you not to be stupid you moron!
Shut up! Sit down!
what do you consider japanese food?
i tried sushi for first time last year, it was ok. went to a Sushi Conveyor belt place in Boston. Fried Green tea ice cream was better than i thought it would be.
you should go someplace where the sushi is made fresh and to order. you never know how long the stuff has been revolving on those conveyor belt places. places on the coasts are best as the fish is fresh and not cryo-packed.
Sushi in the US can be as good or better than in Japan. There's really not a lot to it, it's either fresh and well assembled or not.
Japanese curry, katsudon, yakiniku, udon, raamen, zaru/yakisoba, etc. are some bomb ass Jap dishes.
there are some dishes you won't easily find here though. the infused tofu is only served in those places that cater to expats here, and in Englewood Cliffs (because American audiences find the preparation cruel and inhumane)
You seem upset.
that place in Boston did go out of business soon after too......my Japanese gf said the sushi was ok there, they have those places in Hawaii
i went to one in Poughkeepsie, ny too.......had a little sushi there and mainly tempura stuff. might try one in nyc, the next time i head down there.
