Every single day that Howard "works" he rants about how SiriusXM owes him subscriber bonuses.
Don't SiriusXM have right to put a short statement before the show.

"When we signed Howard we agreed upon a generous subscriber bonus program. We also agreed upon a generous bonus if Sirius and XM merged. During 2006 to 2011 we payed out over 130 million in bonuses to Howard including a XM merger bonus worth 28 million.

3 years later Howard wants a subscriber bonus for people who can't hear him. He want to be double compensated since he already is compensated for the merger. Don't belive Howard. Check the facts. Howard have a history of telling half truth. BTW. Our last survey showed that Howard had 270000 listeners per week. King of all media.... "

So you want the listeners worked over like the cable companies and networks work over their viewers every time there's a licensing spat, filling the air with crappy propaganda from both sides?

No thanks. It's a good thing that Sirius is taking the upper hand.

I think they are taking the high road, like Jay Leno did, just let Howie spew his shit and ignore it. Howard spent months shitting on Leno on a daily basis and Jay never once responded, it made Howard look like an annoying gnat not worthy of mention. Sirius/XM will get all the satisfaction they want by winning the case, something they must feel they will do or they wouldn't have dragged it out this long.

I think it would be good radio if Howard started to take real calls like someone who called him out about this bullshit.

How the F can Howard trash his employer each day and still have a work? SiriusXM must have retarded lawyers that don't put in a clause about
that you can't talk shit about the company. If people believe Howard they believe that Sirius is an evil company that cheats their employees of money and have celebrations with Bruce Springsteen just so that the CEO can have a "bar mitzvah" (Howard's own words).

Nothing about that Howard lied during the merger. "we will have cheaper subscriptions. A la carte for 7.99" In fact, SiriusXM have raised prices many times just to pay money to Howard and the idiots in the board room that granted them self over 200 million in bonuses.

NBC and KRock let him get away with exactly the same thing. I guess it's in his contracts, or legal, or he's worth more to them alive than dead. It was entertaining in the NBC years. Not so much during the endless KRock-to-Sirius migration.

I think that they are retarded since they have not managed to get this thrown out.
And why no gag order so Howard cant talk about this?

Either Howard makes an entreating radio program: Let real people call in and talk about stuff. (the non screened days where fun)
or force Howard to stop address this issue at all.

Sirius/XM is just happy to have Howard on the air three days a week doing a radio show that is better than ever. Given that they gave him a new deal knowing that this issue was in dispute, I doubt they are surprised by his on-air antics.

Exactly....sirius takes the high road, and they must have figured out that Stern isn't their 'bread and butter' anymore. The initial stern effect was all they wanted, and they know they're not gaining subs through him anymore. I'd be suprised if he re-signs after all this. But he'll make it seem like he's leaving, not that he isn't being re-signed

Hopefully Sirius will release some embarrassing statistics about how many subscribers have cancelled due to Howard's lack of effort, although that would also make them look stupid for re-signing him.

Not if they just show the decline/complaints since he started phoning it in under the new contract. That is, people complaining/leaving because of his reduced effort and workload, neither of which were exactly predictable.

Why should we be surprised. Howard thinks his AGT hosting will draw in more subscribers. And he didn't know his photographs would appear in that Hampton's magazine in the summer of 2011.

Howard complains that Sirius didn't make him a partner too like they promised yet he sold off all the shares in the company that he was given as soon as he could.

So you're saying that even Sirius is intent on making the show boring?

Most corporations won't put anything out when being sued by an employee...First off, there's not benefit to them and secondly, the plaintiffs lawyers might find something in the statement to benefit them, so the company doesn't want to take a chance, even a remote one. Or maybe they feel so strongly about their case that they don't feel the need to comment.

From what I've read about the situation, I think Howard will have a tough time proving his case.

Perhaps he will be forced to refer to AGT as "eh eh eh".

That would be... kind of sad.
