We all used to love the man. now most despise him. Can anyone put their finger on when this started?
he took his fans for granted
pissing on them sealed the deal
Howard has sinned against us!!!
He has turned into the thing he made fun of, which in turn made us laugh. So now we are laughing at him.
Same reason Cleveland hates Lebron. He quit.
just returning the piss stream
I can't say it was just Beth. I still enjoyed the show up until a few years ago. He should never have signed again for 5 years. He clearly was done.
He got old and changed his ways.
Just perhaps....maybe....possibly..........Scott Ostrosky?
howcie became imus.
I still dont know who that is!!
Beth was born as a man (Scott Ostrosky)
he went hollywood and forgot what actually made him funny.....and the pissing thing and the schedule and beth and artie and AGT and.....well you get my point.....and winst you stop that LOL
I'm wide awake.

Howard Stern to Shift Show to Satellite Radio in 2006
By BILL CARTER
and CHRISTINE HAUSER
n a deal estimated to cost $100 million a year for five years, Howard Stern, one of the most popular personalities in radio, has signed a contract with the Sirius Satellite Radio Company and will leave his longtime home on Infinity Broadcasting starting in January 2006.
The $100 million figure covers production and operating costs for the Stern show, according to a statement by Sirius.
Mr. Stern said in a telephone interview today that his decision was driven both by a desire to help build satellite radio, which is unregulated by the federal government and mostly free of commercials, and by the need to escape what has become ever-increasing restrictions on the content of his program.
Numerous radio stations that carry Mr. Stern's show have been fined heavily by the Federal Communications Commission over sexual and scatological references on the show. A number of stations owned by Clear Channel Communications dropped Mr. Stern's show over the continuing problems with the F.C.C.
"I have to get away from all these restrictions," Mr. Stern said. "Between the government and the religious fanatics, they are ruining what has been exciting about radio."
On satellite radio he will not have to deal with any such restrictions, or as he put it in a statement released by Sirius, he will "bring my fans my show my way." Listeners pay a monthly fee to receive satellite radio service, and much of the programming is uninterrupted by commercials, although Mr. Stern's program will have advertising. Sirius and another company, XM Satellite, are the main competitors in the field.
But it is still a nascent business. A Sirius spokesman said the company had only about 600,000 customers when last measured at the start of September. Mr. Stern, whose show is often ranked No. 1 in many of the cities where he is carried, has a national audience estimated at about 12 million.....
2. No pressure for ratings
3. Substitution of cursing for producing bits.
4. Never leaving the studio for 6 years
5. Anything Else Robin
6. $500M again
7. Hampton's Life
Maybe when he started treating that horse toothed jackass monkey like a real person?
When he lied about:
Taking some Fridays off
taking some Thursday's off
taking some Monday's or Wednesday's off
the merger being good for the consumer
The news crew having no limits or boundaries, even him
When he ignored:
robins medical condition
agts horrendous ratings
getting passed over by American idol
Posed on us and tried to sell us that it was raining
got married to an annoying cunt
reversed every opinion he ever had
turned the show into an infomercial for agt
Started ending the show at 10 sharp
ran the same amount of ads as terrestrial radio
First Sirius contract was made public
schow schedule was made "public"
Show sponsors were sleazier than an aids infested bleeding dick on an alley corner after midnight
live reads added more content than guests or bits
fucking phone rings at 6:30 sharp every morning with bono on the line and he refuses to not pick it up
guest list evaporated like a snowball on the surface of the sun
Effort turned into overt marble collection
Take your pick...
howcie quit doing a funny show as soon as artie was out the door.
I haven't listened to Stern in 12 years, but I know I'd take Imus over him any day.
My top 3 reasons:
1. Got sick and tired of the bait and switch tactics
3. Finally turning into what he had attacked for years.
