Why is Sam Simon taking credit for Lisa Simpson being vegan?

    She didn't convert to being a vegan until the 7th season and Sam was outsky from the show 2-3 years prior. Its bad enough we had to listen to him spout his silliness but to also be a credit stealing asshole is beyond the pale. That is all.

    and Jon Hein is wrong. The creator of the show is actually Matt Groening. Simon was brought in about 3 years later. Then left bc (surprise) he was a dick, er, he and Groening didn't get along.

    I think she might be a vegan now. Its been like 17 years since the first conversion.

    Well, if he can claim poker isn't gambling, he can claim he came up with the idea of making Lisa Simpson a vegan.

    No wonder Howard is so out of touch with the real world. So are all of his famous friends.

    No it aint. I can get 2 big bags of veggies in my neighborhood Mexican stores for about 12 bucks.

    Come on, you've got to admit that preparing decent vegan meals takes effort. I'm only vegetarian and it requires a little extra attention. I'm far too lazy to be vegan.

    Nah! Bean tacos, tofus veggie mix with soy sauce and lotsa spices, a plate of mixed steamed vegetables, a beer and a bowl of popcorn. Not too much effort.

    Right, and you've just described a meal that requires a little cooking. Many many people are not equipped to do that (in skills, time, and/or predilection). Sounds good though. ;)
