Im dying to see what an awkward, unfunny douche bag he is when out among "regular" people
in places like the grocery store.

It's been over a month since they taped this.

Did Howard preview the episode, then realize what a mistake he made
and paid Seinfeld off to just shelve the footage, never to be seen again?

No, it'll air, they're just having a problem getting the Liz Claiborne folks to sign off on the release for the pants Howard was wearing.

Probably a few more months before the next set of episodes airs - I hope Jerry leaves in the scene with Howard grabbing the envelope of money.

Evolved Howie doesn't belong on a show about comedians anyway. Maybe there's one out there about douchebags going for coffee, if not then Jason Alexander should run with the idea.

There are two things wrong with this theory, GP: it would require Howard having some self-awareness and it would require Howard paying someone.

They just take a few months to air.

Here's my theory: Howard had Jackie write him lines/stories for his episode of CICGC, and he "paid" Jackie with the privilege of coming on the show for 15 minutes and being berated.

Jackie came into the studio right around the time Howard shot his episode. A lot of people thought it was to help promote Robin's book, and maybe that was some of it, but I think it's much more likely it was payment for services rendered.

When his episode airs listen for any Jackie-sounding stories/jokes.

We wish it was Jackie. We'll know the truth when he asks about Seinfeld's cock while he's in the passenger seat.

I doubt wiggy could pay off Seinfeld to shelve the episode. Jerry has more money than Howard and being a tribe member I don't get the feeling he is as motivated by money as Howard. (If he was he would have thane that last year if Seinfeld at 100 mil and episode and given a shitty product like Howard is doing ). This may very well be payback for the Whitney Cummings debacle.

Beff and wiggy can bad mouth Jerry to all the hamponites. They will still side with Jerry.

I like the theory that he hired Jackie to punch up his extemporaneous script and paid him in Robin jokes, causing Benji to go rogue.
