Why Netflix Shouldn't Fear Apple's Original Content

.........I fully expect an all-out talent war in the coming months for others who would be a great fit for Apple.

Howard Stern's contract ends at the end of the year with Sirius (SIRI - Get Report) . He's a little bit more risqué than what Apple usually associates with, but he'd also be a great draw for people thinking of subscribing to Apple Music. He knows how to produce great audio content every day.........................

Isn't that the same person who wrote the Forbes article? Howard's really getting his money's worth from this guy.

Yet ANOTHER Grupo Buchwaldo pranking plant, OR another deluded "I-think-Howard-is-still-90s-"Shock Jock"-Howard-but-I-haven't-listened-to-his-Show-since-he-went-to-SiriusXM" reporter (or maybe a combo of both).

I just can't BELIEVE that these writers are that fucking stupid. Why not try to listen to one of Howard's bore-fests before writing a goddam article about what :quote: great content :quote: he produces???

You really think this guy's doing anything other than cutting and pasting Buchwald issued press releases?

Nope. The lazy fuck. I guess Buchwaldo & Co's check cleared...

& @tv910 was right. It's the same reporter who wrote the Forbe's article...

I noticed there's no open "Comments" section in this latest fluff piece...

I dealt with reporters like this at my old job. You don't even have to pay them.
You email them the release and they lapp it up because they get paid by the newspaper for doing no work

The medical industry creates news pieces for tv station filler. It's so obvious when these studies are aired during the news.

I love how all these guys are claiming Howard would be great for a subscription-based service but they never mention that his own service (HowardTV) FAILED because it couldn't get enough subscribers to keep it afloat.

It irritates me to no end whenever "journalists" these days just regurgitate the contents of whatever email or fax they get from some idiot Publicist. It's really endemic of the piss poor work ethic of today's Mainstream Media. Like @SalsMasterShake said in an earlier post, why don't they try listening to the fucking show to find out just how different Grandma Gunky is from the "bad boy of radio" that they remember from the mid 90's.

I hate to say it, but I feel another pranking is just around the corner. Apple, Spotify, Pandora, or some other :quote: new media :quote: company, full of "Shock Jock" Howard fan boys as management, will green light a 4-5 year contract for Howard to provide their company exclusive :quote: content :quote:.

I just hope it IS subscriber based, as the FAIL will be immense (for the idiot company that failed to do its due diligence). The thing I will hate most though, is that Howard will be marble enriched yet again...

I sincerely hope that I'm wrong. I really do...
