I'm sure there's no correlation.
Ask any cop. They do not want to wear them. Funny thing that...
Yeah, I heard about this today on some show on NPR. Apparently, there was about 5 officers who repeatedly lied about suspects and sent several of them to jail/prison for months.
Just like that recent story in NYC about the two cops who drove the wrong way down a street, scraped some dude's car and then blamed HIM for the crash.
Cameras on ALL of them. During their ENTIRE shift.
I think it's brilliant. If you chose a job that requires you to be responsible with extreme power it keeps you in line. It's like having video cameras at a fucking bank. What's the difference.
It protects both the public and the police. What's not to like?
Waiting for Captain Frank to come in here and challenge this.
Seems like a great idea.
Think of how many unfounded police brutality cases won't be tying up the courts.
Rialto is always featured on the show "Cops"
Lots meth users out there in San Berdo county.
San Bern is a fuckin mess.
That's what I'm thinking. . . . shit the cops in the Rodney King case would have not gotten the shit they got if they had cameras.
Somehow 2 of King's passengers were apprehended without getting an ass-beating but ole Rodney just so happened to be the one jig those cops wanted to club.
Well our other forum cop Lemmy (who I like) also said he didn't want to wear one either.
Don't remember why though.
He had passengers???
Lemmy enjoys hitting Negros with his collapsible baton. His words, not mine.
No. I'm thinking they would still be doing time. Bad analogy, itp!
Isn't it ironic that Rodney King died in Rialto?
Yeah, that's something the fuckin' media NEVER covers. They obeyed the police orders and didn't get their asses kicked.
Nope. That vid showed King getting his ass kicked. That's it. They didn't show what happened before to provide a context.
There's a REASON those cops were acquitted on those bullshit charges.
