Who is the douche in the pic? Homeless cat's life takes a Stern for the better; Madonna's ex Guy Ritchie weds model Jacqui Ainsley BY MARIANNE GARVEY, BRIAN NIEMIETZ & OLI COLEMAN WITH RACHEL MARESCA Friday, July 31, 2015, 2:00 AM Scott Roth/Invision/AP Howard and Beth Stern attend a special screening of "Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation" on Friday, July 24, 2015, in East Hampton, NY. From homeless to Howard Stern’s penthouse. One lucky cat from the Bronx, tossed out by his owner and stranded on a building ledge for three weeks, came to the attention of Howard’s animal activist wife, Beth Stern, who saved him with help from two Long Island ladies on the rescue mission. When an Instagram follower of Beth’s sent her a picture of the sad, starving cat stretched out on a concrete ledge at 226 E. 203rd St., she collaborated with her Insta-followers Julianne Tauriello and her girlfriend Kim Cardalena to save him. “We drove up to the Bronx to get him,” Tauriello told us. “For almost a month nobody would take him in. He was on that ledge all day. Someone coaxed him in, passed him to us, and he was happy and loving and sat on our laps in the car.” He spent the next five days being tested at North Shore Animal League, aced his behavior test and was cleared in perfect health. The 1-year-old cat is now resting in Beth’s penthouse, awaiting adoption. “When he’s not cuddling my neck, he’s perched on our windowsill,” Beth says. “He’s an absolute doll. (He) gets along with people, kids, dogs and other cats. He’s perfect!" Howard picked a perfect moniker: Peter Parker. To adopt the cat, email Beth at firstname.lastname@example.org.
