Who has it? And who's buying it eventually?
Bought two last night...
Flipped one for a quick $150 profit today (I'm so ashamed) and will probably keep the other one for parties, etc...
I will have to say that the system is pretty nice and there's a strong collection of games at launch.
Picked it up the deluxe today
Have been playing super mario u. Great game and I think the system has major potential
Controller makes me not want to get it. Does everything have to be a touchscreen now ?
i loved the wii when i got one, after 18 months it lost its appeal. I dont see any appeal in the WiiU
Wii I Am
Everything just about is . . .
The video controller is actually pretty sweet...But the thing I like best about the Wii U is how backward compatible the thing is...No need to buy new controllers as all the original Wii controllers work as well as the games.
I think the best part of the video controller is that you can use it as a portable (like the PS Vita) and be watching something else on the TV while playing.
Nintendo is "The Last Of The Mohicans" (Sega Dead, Atari Dead). So I'm always going to support them . . .
I stopped using the original console after awhile as well and stuck with my Xbox 360. But I've gotten every Nintendo console since the beginning with the NES so I guess it's a habit now. For what it's worth, it's actually pretty inventive. I think the iTV ffeature (when it's released) will be the hidden gem of this system.
Plus Nintendo are the only true innovators in the business. Microsoft and Sony always reverse engineer everything they innovate and apply it to their own Consoles and First Party Software . . .

P.S. Their dissecting the machine and the game pads as we speak . . .
I'm with you...I loved the Atari 2600 and 5200 as well as the Dreamcast (the first system with a video screen built into the controller, albeit back and white)...I have a 360 just for certain games and content, but I prefer to support Nintendo.
I have it. But I'm waiting for a friend of ours to help hook it up to the TV.
I still have my Sega Master System . . .
I have a different take on that. If we stop buying Nintendo hardware then we can play Mario on a Sony or XBox console.
The coolest old system I have is a Neo Geo.
That would be a sad day . . .
Not really. I would love to play a Mario game on my Vita. Also besides a few gimmicks all of the Mario Galaxy games would have been more comfortable on a regular controller.
Nintendo still has the greatest game developer that ever lived . . .
