Will Howard collect Social Security benefits when he retires?

    Howard said today that people that are wealthy shouldn't collect unemployment or Social Security benefits, but he stopped short of saying that he would reject Social Security benefits himself. I don't have a problem with it if he does collect benefits because he has paid into the system. I think he will wait and collect them when he reaches maximum retirement age when they can't be offset by his earnings.

    I thought about this subject a couple of years ago but never made a thread about. I can't imagine him leaving any money on the table. Good thread, I always wondered what other people thought he would do. :up:

    Why would anyone not collect Social Security? If I've spent my entire working life paying into it, I better be seeing my payoff when I come of age.

    But, since we are talking about Wigward, I hope he starts going senile around the same time he starts getting his checks. That way Beth can take them, cash them and buy herself a nice new stable.
