I had a Lagunitas IPA this weekend.
I'm not sure if it was the same one you have listed, it looked like it.
I didn't much like it.
Seemed a little weak to me, taste wise.
I'm into Stouts and Porters lately.
No shit, dude. Sours and Gose are way better. Start with Sierra Nevada Otra Vez and go from there.

Nope. English style IPA's are more mild. Americans took that style and changed it and made it more appealing to craft beer fans.
It's definitely the wild frontier of craft brewing. "Please try our SIDEKICK IN THE HEAD IPA. It's 6.5% and so hoppy your tongue will curl."
