I lost all respect for Gary, who coaches youth football, when he didn't know what a "nickel defense" was. He thought it meant five defensive linemen on the field. Moron.

I remember the coaches in Pop Warner, not the HC or the guys teaching about O and or D stuff, but the volunteer types. The dads who drove kids around, etc. They didn't know a lot about football. They knew the basics but not much more.

And to be fair, at that level, I only remember 4-4's and Goal-line D's.

Gary can't even throw a baseball well. What do you expect from the guy?
