I got a fake one , which looks good and all , but you can't beat the smell of a real Christmas tree.
I hate the smell, but my wife and kids insist on a real tree.
I did a fake tree for two years and it looked as good as a real on if not better.
It was the same tree my wife grew up with. Had to be 50 years old and it still looks great.
Hate the smell of the wonderful outdoors and pine?
I do. You can't escape and it hits you right when you walk in the door.
I prefer a more citrus or fruity smell.
For a number of years we would purchase the balled tree and plant it in the yard, but have run out of space. Well, not really out of space since we have a large yard. The trees get big after a while so final placement is important. This year we will be buying a cut tree. Sad in a sense the buy the dead one, but that is that.
There are like 10 u-cut tree farms within 5 miles of where I live.
I like a real tree even though it gets messy. I order online and get it delivered.
I dont care about the smell or the appearance or any of it; the process of going and killing your own tree is the main thing. I could keep it in a bucket in the garage after that and be happy.
Pretty sure my sense of smell is off or something, I rarely notice the pine smell and we get a tree that we cut down that day - I smell it when I go to water it and get under the branches but generally in the house not much.
The smell isn't over powering , you just get a hint of it when you walk past the tree.
You become acclimated to it after a couple of days anyways.
I like my trees, like I like my boobs.
Real one's are good till the nipples fall off. I mean needles.
Got one of these, always had real before.
did the real thing for years...was a pain in the ass and I got itchy just getting near it. bought a 9' prelit from Costco a few years ago.
An actual tree. It's a big deal to me. And the cats dig it. "OMG He got us another tree!"
Up to 6 trees this year, all artificial.
Two 9’ Balsam Hill (i.e. $$$ and look very real), one smaller in our family room that was cheaper, one cheap one on the front porch and my kids have cheap Target 3’ trees in their rooms because, well, they can.
All prelit. BH trees are LED.
