Since I returned from vacation a couple of weeks ago, I've had issues with the latest Windows 7 update. Yesterday a Microsoft tech attempted to resolve my conflict resulting in Windows crashing. She took control of my PC via remote. I gave her permission. Don't know what she did but now Windows keeps attempting to repair damaged files. Stops, says be prepared for several restarts & this might take over an hour. So far it's taken 16 hours and the process simply repeats itself upon reboot. She said I should contact my PC manufacturer to run the Windows backup from their end. My PC is a year & a half old - still under warranty. Today I have to contact tech support for my PC to see if they can help me back up important file & then restore my backup without my losing various music editing programs I use almost daily. I will be plowing the fields of oblivion for the nest 48 to 96 hours. If I never see you all again farewell. This has been fun.
