Howard is going on and on every year about how "this year's" winner is going to be an international superstar, right?

I felt kinda sad to see this advertised in the local paper:

That would be Ebiken (aka season 8 winner Kenichi Ebina) in that tiny picture on the right. He's sharing the stage with three other groups. Tickets are 2500 yen (20 USD). Ouch. :(

By the way, I had this for dinner tonight and it was delicious! I think Sal would approve.

Going to Asia to me, would be like going to the moon with bad food and throngs of smelly people. Im in Europe right now and it's perfect here.

Depends on where you go in Asia.
And there are PLENTY of stinky parts of Europe with terrible food too BTW.

Odd, that statement also sums up pretty much all of Europe.

You're thinking of places like Burma or Nepal. That Kinichi poster is from Japan. I lived there for a couple of years in the mid-90s, and have visited a couple of times since. Japanese people have some of the best hygiene in the world, and in any medium sized town or larger you can find whatever kind of food you want.

They're getting their claws into every country, establishing a sizeable population, entrenching their laws and claiming bias- pretty much like everywhere else.

Since Howard became a judge winning AGT has been the equivalent of joining the witness protection program.

this is why i respect the chinese....they don't tolerate islam. they have managed to nip it in the bud. europe is almost gone....that's why i'm glad i went when it was still european. southern france is my favorite place....cities like marseille are gone. i think eventually something big is going to happen there (WTC type of incident) or a symbolic incident (destruction of notre dame or chartres). you can't have that percentage of muslims and still have a civilized country.
