    Getting my resume ready fuck this shit if I have to I will go work at Walmart stocking shelves part time. I know Walmart is a shit place to work but it is easy to get into and they have graveyard shifts which is what I prefer.

    Yes, Wal-mart does do a drug screening prior to employment. It's a urinalysis and you have a period of 24 hours to give your sample (to whatever lab they send you to) before you forfeit your employment. Wal-Mart also tests employees on a random basis.

    You can't even work at walmart you failure

    Employers stay away from drug tests in Canada. Under the Canadian Human Rights Act, a person with a dependence on drugs or alcohol is considered disabled. As a result, employers are not able to simply not hire (or fire) an employee based on the results of a drug test. If this were the case, and you could prove a dependence on the weed, you would have a human rights case.

    After hiring, employees cannot be randomly tested. Employees can be tested if they are known to the employer to have a drug problem to confirm the employee has stopped using drugs, or if the employee is putting someone else at risk from an accident perspective.

    As a rule of thumb, once an employer finds out an employee has a drug problem, the employer needs to provide the employee with reasonable accomodation. In other words, firing the employee is the last option. Because of this, most employers are legally better off not knowing about drug use and therefore won't test.
