I've done it before but can't keep it consistent. Hit the gym @6 am and man it really makea you feel good the rest of the day. Usually our routine is 8 pm I go, Wife goes after me when kids are sleeping few times a week.
I'm throwing down the 30 day challenge to wife, we try the AM thing rotating days.
This daylight savings time adjustment really fucks you in the PNW, you really feel tired once 9pm hits.
Also we have been known to pass up the gym for fucking when its on the night schedule.

    Who's a morning bird....how do u stick with it.

If you give up sleep so you can workout in the AM then it's counterproductive.

The optimal time to workout, IMO, is mid to late afternoon.

When the place is packed wall to wall. Sure good for some eye candy but equipment gets tied up....annoying. Oh and the LA fitness I use has a ventilation problem...gets quite stinky.

:grad: working out makes you feel good for 2-4 hours then you get a little tired

doesn't keep you going all day

I go to a 24 hour gym. I have a weird schedule which has me nocturnal for most of the week so I either go after work at 6 AM or on my days off at 1 or 2 AM.

Exactly, lifestyle...no timetables. The world is a gym. There's always something you can do

According to "experts" the best time to work out is mid-afternoon/early evening. When they did studies of all factors, our body and mind are fully prepared to work out effectively and efficiently at that time. That being said, breaking the habit of a sedentary lifestyle towards daily exercise is paramount over what time of the day a person completes their workout.
I work out when I have the time to do it each day. I try not to work out too late in the evening because it does interfere with my sleep routine.
