Does that mean Brad Pitt wil be a guest soon?
That's a shit movie.
I doubt Pitt will go on Stern. Howard has been critical of his girlfriend and him for being a cockhold father.
The book was never going to work as an popcorn movie. I don't even know why they tried. It would have worked best as a HBO series.
probably a phoner if anything
That movie cost more than $400 million and there's no way that it will make that money back. It will bankrupt its financiers.
Spielberg & Lucas are saying that tickets for movies like this will cost $150!
Hollywood is figuring out that most stuff will work best as a HBO or Netflix series. Fuck cinema.
the trailer looked so good.
It worked great as an audiobook dramatization
I doubt it. When could he fit him in? He already has Robin as a guest on his show every...fucking...day.
He might come on now that Howard has gelded himself
zombies are sooooooo 2012.
I'm hearing Bombs Away. But the way things usually work is if a movie gets horrible reviews it becomes a massive hit. It's the Adam Sandler theory.
Are people excited about this movie? I never got the zombie thing, it's all boring to me.
There's definitely a concerted effort both in the movie and video game industries to pound the genre into the dirt of played out meaninglessness as quickly as possible just like the brief vampire fad before it.
If people go to see this movie it'll be for the brad pitt factor, because the CGI i've seen looked god awful, like videogame zombies. This new york post guy had a good line:
The best part about these paid WarZ ads is Brad Pitt still won't give Coward's show the time of day, because he doesn't need to.
why would brad pitt show up at this third rate show
So he could get career advice from Howard
Exactly. It's essentially a novelized horror anthology. Creating a single character narrative was stupid enough. Making the zombies a bunch of hyper, able-bodied CG creations was just fucking retarded.
This could have been a great answer to the faults of The Walking Dead if it was serialized on cable. What a shame.
i thought the book and especially the audiobook, hit because the story wasn't really the zombies, but how individuals dealt with the loss of civilization the zombies caused, and how these people tried to put their lives back together. if the movie is just focused on the zombies, it will just be another zombie apocalypse with a big budget. I have to figure Pitt never actually read the book.
