I haven't posted as much lately, but I've still been listening, and I have to say I really enjoy the dynamic of Artie and Robert Wuhl (as a straight man who can be funny). So with that in mind, I just wondered what others thought, and if he might make a good permanent co-host for Artie?

Was annoying in the original Batman, still annoying today. Might be talented, but just too much personality for that chair.

I'm still dreaming of Sid and Artie Dream Team with a total overhaul of this shit format.

Don't hate Wuhl but don't want him as co-host either.

There's no option if I dislike Wuhl and Ritchie.

I know most people on here like him but Wuhl comes across as really pompous and he drops way too many names for my liking.

Sid or Norm would be my top choice as well, but I'm guessing that won't happen (unless Sid goes off the wagon again, and really gets fired the next time). It seems like Wuhl is free to do the show since he's been a fill in host, and probably would have an interest, so I just threw it out there. I always liked the guy, I just think he has that kind of smarmy "I'm smarter than you, so fuck off" quality that Bill Hicks had, which turns off a lot of people. I think the difference between him and Nick, for me, is that Nick was basically just a New England jerk off who pretended to be smart, whereas Wuhl really is (even if he's unlikable for a lot of people).

Robert Wuhl is nobody, he starred in whats regarded as one of if not the worst tv shows all time and had a couple bit parts in a few shitty movies so him having a "smarter than you" attitude is ridiculous and shows he's a true fucking Jackanape. I thought my opinion would be in the minority but I guess the pole speaks for itself and the majority can't all be wrong, the guy sucks and doesnt mesh with the show. I guarantee you if he was the cohost he wouldnt take ball busting well and would act all pissy about it.

I enjoyed him in Hollywood Knights and Good Morning Vietnam. :dontknow: I just find that guys like that can be good on radio, if they have someone to play off of. He reminds me a lot of Bernie on Imus' show, but again I'm not saying everyone (or even most people) have to like him.

I'd go with Brian Jones, Don Jamieson, or Vic Henley.

LOVE Bernie!! I took Imus off mt DVR scheduler when Artie came on last fall. I really didn't like when they had Bernie do Hollywood updates awhile ago. Let Dagen or Carly do that and let Bernie just sit back and take aim. Fuck Connell's smug ass. Him and Stover could be brothers. I never cared for how he had Rob stay in character for the whole show(Tony and Kira WOAT). I do miss Fred and Terry Bradshaw interviews though.

Love Jones and Henley too. They'd be great sidekicks. I don't know who Jamieson is.

He's a comic who hosts That Metal Show with Jim Florentine. Good comic, knows his sports. Has known Artie for years. I think he was on the show once with Florentine.

In order: Norm, Quinn, Wuhl. I only tolerate Ritchie because he makes Artie comfortable and he shows some effort by researching show topics.

I think Brian Jones is better as an occasional guest.

lol, that sounds like the type of insult Bocchetti would come up with. "I'm not a chiseler or an idiot."

Wuhl doesn't really annoy me much, but he does seem to have that thing about him like what Artie says about Bill Maher...

He could seriously bog the show down in boring sports talk too.
Thankfully I think he already has his own radio show.

I'll stick with Ritchie for now 'cause the last time we complained about that big boofhead they put Stover back on, and nobody wants that.
