Plenty of people apparently do. Holy shit. How? It's cool and all, but the price is just insane.
That's not a travel bag BTW
$350 is "insane" for luggage?
That's the "early bird" price. Regular prices will be around $500.
I have a Travelpro carry-on bag that I bought for less than $200. High-quality, lightweight, sharp looking stuff. I don't see anything that can justify paying twice that.
sure. and more.
I pay a premium for quality. Not sure if this qualifies.
$350 yes $500 no unless it was louis vuitton but it's stupid to buy luis vuitton for travel so still no.
i have no problem for paying for better stuf, but i will never fund anything more than $100 on kickstarter if i do not know the people producing the goods. i have been burned before.
Seems like a rip-off. You get two bags for that money from premium brands that have been around forever.
This will also suit you just fine.
If an idea is good enough it shouldn't need "finding". For art type things I get it but not this kinda crap.
The wheels on that G-RO case look gay, too.
i have travelpro. stuff falls apart on me all the time. luckily the warranties are good or i would not have them now. i just dont like samsonite, and they flood the market here so its easy to get their stuff cheap.
i wont pay $300 for anything on FB anymore.
i have gotten some good stuff on kickstarter but i have seen a lot of crap there too. i know the metal workers i fund there. i would never fund a watch or other similar items. I also have issues with funding anything with moving parts on kickstarter.
I've had Samsonite for years and I've always been happy about it. When the TSA destroyed one of my suitcases by forcing it open, I decided to give Travelpro a shot. That was 5 years ago. Still holds up just fine.
The Ad you linked is for $279. Free Shipping.
I probably wouldn't buy something like that without seeing and touching it first. Some things are better at a brick and mortar store.
mine fell apart going through the atlanta airport: my connections were always at opposite ends (damn cheap employers) and the wheels just couldn't take it every month.
id pay any amount for anything giving there is a good reason to do so at the current moment
