Not that it would really matter if his shit show went on more often at this point, but I'm curious if more Stern on the air would get some of his ex-fans off his back.

A little more... But I can't view the show as anything but fake, scripted and phony anymore... Even listening to the tapes, it seems as if it was always that way...

    Fuck Howard.

The more I think about it, the three day work week, the umpteen weeks of vacation... Why does he even bother at all? Sure he was able to scam Sirius into accepting this lame arrangement, but it seems to me that every time I try to listen to him it's getting more and more difficult to fathom why the fuck he's putting on a "show."
The latest example of radio gold was the "Derrick From Texas" bit. It was so lame it was truly cringe-worthy. But if he was to at least show up for a 5 day week, I wouldn't feel as though he was sitting in front of that microphone under duress or a contractual obligation...

No. He doesn't even have three days worth of quality content now.

I can't think of anything that could make me respect him even a little bit anymore.

    No.

That would only add 8 more hours of Howard saying douchey things on air and further revealing how much he's fallen as an entertainer.

i'd have more respect for him if he quit after the first sirius contract, or if he reduced his show to simply being an hour long interview show 3 days a week with a decent guest each day.

I never had a problem with howard's reduced schedule as long as he was still providing a quality product. He doesn't any more so I have moved on to better things

Not if it's like the other days!

Seriously, no. His problem isn't how often his shows are on, but the lying, pomposity, character flaws, and bullshitting.

In Howards words, "radio is a habitual medium". Working 3 days a week less than 3 weeks a month makes it hard to get in a groove.

There is nothing HS can do for me to respect him. However, if he desired to end his career with even a shred of dignity, he should:

    - Lose that stupid wig. It's ridiculous and pitiful the delusional world he lives in.
    - Resign from Sirius and AGT and retire. It's so over, he has no interest in providing an entertaining show. Admit that you have lost your passion for radio and go relax. He will never be accepted by mainstream America and his core fans now see him as the phony hypocrite he always was.

Neither of these will happen... his destiny is not a happy one. Such a fake existence must take a terrible toll on one's psyche.

I'd have more respect for his work ethic, but still none for him as a sellout, hypocrite who morphed into everything he railed about for years.
