That's proof that there is no intelligent life on Mars.

We're not moving fast enough with space exploration. I SO wanted to see some type of major breakthrough in space travel/exploration in my lifetime.

When Tan finally comes, he will bring fusion fed hydrogen cores to mankind. And things of this nature, you understand. I wonder if the Golden Jew and the Gilded Nigeress will be so biggety-smiggety then.

If you have Netflix, I highly recommend watching Universe. It's a five-season show and it's just terrific.

Damn, I was hoping for the head of Fred Norris to be carved in a mountainside like the presidents on Mt Rushmore

I remember reading about some billionaire who wanted to fund a manned mission to Mars. He'd generate additional revenue by beaming the life (and eventual death) of the unlucky lab rat around the world as some sort of reality show. It was really ridiculous, morbid stuff. I'm gonna look for the article.

I'm pretty sure it's a History Channel version. There was another one I watched (streaming from Netflix) and it sucked smelly balls.

"Wonders of the solar system" sucked shit.

This is the "Universe" series about which I was referring:

There's a couple of really great episodes that helps you conceptualize how large even our galaxy is, how our solar system is on one of the outer arms of the milky way and the improbability (actually, the downright absurdity) that we're the only solar system in our galaxy with life. It leaves you feeling optimistic, at least from a mathematical/theoretical perspective.
