I love the calm bullshit voice telling people that this is normal....

Hint to Sea World... Large marine mammals stuck in a huge bathtub is not normal to begin with... how about giving flipper a push

I wonder how a Sea World worker would like it if we confined them to a bathtub for years?

I can't watch that stuff. Makes me too sad. I hate all zoos, circuses, etc. Very upsetting.

at least every once in a while a sea world trainer gets mauled by a whale so the animals get a little revenge for the shit they get put through

Sea World loves animals so much they set off fireworks at 9:55PM every night that because of their location can be heard at a relatively high level by a good portion of urban San Diego, setting off thousands of dogs and other domestic pets as well as disturing countless resting creatures from their own aquatic life to marine creatures up and down the coastline. No amount of pressure from environmental groups and city officials has gotten them to curtail the practice.

I was there last month. Had a great time. I was sort of looking too because as a person who likes sea life and animals you hear about these things. Plus there recent episode with a a staff person getting killed by the whale there.... so I was sort of just aware of things. The animals appeared happy and well cared for, the staff kind, attentive and knowledgeable. It was a nicer experience than something like a Disney park.
