from the first show... talk about a different howard now
He used to say that about every show. Howard took pride in not screening his calls. He used to criticize Leno, Letterman and every other talk show host for playing it safe. There's nothing left of the old Howard.
Howard Weave Roth.
Oh how the mighty have fallen.
And this is another reason why Jay Thomas' show is head and shoulders above howchie.
Could be misperception on my part, but it seems to me most performers become less sensitive to criticism later in life, certainly not so with Howard. I think when he genuinely thought the show was good, he could take the nasty calls on air and do "meanest listener" type bits. Standing up for the current state of the show would be trying to defend the indefensible, still probably less threatening than honestly discussing his ridiculous off-air life.
Howard's a complete phony and hypocrite. Listen, what do you do for a living?
would love to hear booey defend this
I'll do it for him: "So let me ask you: What do you do for a living?"
Did you catch Jason today on the "AGT wrapup show" asking a female caller if she was hot since she sat up front? She blew it by saying he already knew what she looked like and he admitted he was faking not knowing her.
What a mess of a channel.
He knows an awful lot about the process of getting phony fluff callers on a talk show.
you forgot the "listen..."
BoBo you're on the air ... Oh from Brooklyn NY ..Marianne ...click
not true some wisps of hair round his ears are original Stern parts ...factory certified
The best way to do it is pick something from that God Awful show and tell Will it was the best thing ever. then bomb him if you get on the air
My work is done but my dreams have just begun
they have a dump button 15 sec
So you lather his ass for a bit then blindside him
Even when Shuli's on?!
I miss the angry screeching Haitian women and the irate parents of adopted kids
