This looks like the best summer movie of this year so far...

    Sony needs to take notes

I thought the last Wolverine movie was a bit of a let down, but the rest of the X-Men movies have all been great. I wish they would do the Wolverine v Punisher story, but they need to make a Punisher movie that doesn't completely suck first.

I'm more of a DC guy. Not too into the Marvel universe.

Anyone else getting tired of these movies?

I'm not much of a Marvel person although they do a few good ones here and there - Incredible Hulk, Blade, the first two Spider-mans.

I just rewatched Iron Man and Avengers...Other than RDJ, these movies aren't as great as everyone says. A lot of talking for the few minutes of action. :nojj:

I'm tired of the Iron Man / Avengers thing shoved down my insides every year, seriously sick of everyone in the Avengers and this new Spider Man and Superman shit but X-Men was the series that started it all when coming to the big screen after the new millennium so I have much respect for them. The first two X-Men are like some of the greatest comic book movies ever made!

Oh man and Godzilla comes out one week before? I haven't been excited to go to the movies since Bad Grampa

I think the problem is what makes Marvell great is that their heros don't always have a happy ending and so far all the movies have. ..

They need to kill some heros off to get people really into it

Looking forward to this. Both of the trailers are kick ass. Think I might have to go to the midnight release on this one.

X-Men 1 was good for about the first hour then gets stale once they kidnap Rogue.

Marvel keeps things light. DC every since Batman Begins has all their characters moody and traumatized. :rolleye: Batman can't get over his parents. Then he can't get over a gf played by Maggie Gylenhaal. Man Of Steel, Superman lets his dad die but before even that he whines like a tween, "You're not my real dad!" :bigcry:

It's a shock people didn't love that joyfest. :coffee:

DC movies tend to suck monkey dick outside of the 3 new batmans compared to Marvel. Also the Marvel universe is just so much better than anything in DC. Superman can suck a dick.

I agree with your assesment, but Man Of Steel made $687,999,518 worldwide according to Wikipedia. I don't know if people loved it, but they sure went to see it.

Kevin Smith has a great line about Bat man quitting for 8 years because Maggie Gyllenhall/Katie Holmes got killed.

KATIE Holmes left Tom Cruise and he didn't stop making movies for 8 years.

And the first X-Men movie was a fucking borefest. An action movie with no action.
