Stern got old. it's over Johny. Some folks on here seem to be selling the mammary route for that free money for Howard after next year. They should have been using stern to promote new talent. we should be listening to his protege at this point.

What about Sirius? Is it one company or two?

i really thought Wiggy was gonna build something cool. be like an elder statesman of radio, presiding over 2 or three channels of kick ass content. :tears:

Well Howard did say a year or so before he went to Sirius that satellite radio was for the people who's career began to suck.

I don't see any nurturing of talent. those two channels should be stacked and packed with fresh content unless perhaps none exists? if XM or Sirius was smart they would nurture talent and provide options for future customers and stockholders. Stern has zip reflection on stockholders so we saw. however if I was the CEO of XM I would recommend enforcing a mentorship program on executive talent like Stern.

If SiriusXM were smart they would pay Howard based on a ratings system.

There never could have been a protege even if they tried. Not a successful one. Stern had perfect timing to do what he did. Now, there's no such thing as"edgy" entertainment from jocks. You're absolutely right, it's over Johnny. Best bet now is to sift through all the podcasts out there and find something you like. And that's not a bad thing. There are some really good ones out there and new ones are popping up all the time.
