Anyone else into this? It's basically rebranded soft rock, but I'm digging the smooth sultry sounds.
I checked out a "70's soft rock" playlist on YouTube the other day and some of it was pretty cool. Lot of schlock, too, though.
Robbie Dupree, Christopher Cross and Seals and Crofts.
Agreed. I can get with the smooth, but neigh on the schlock.
Such good stuff. High production, awesome musicianship...
Love I! But the announcer makes it sound like it belongs in "GTA: Vice City"
I thought this all about Yacht Rocks
Pandora has a Yacht Rock channel, mostly the well known stuff. SXM is taking over one of their channels and running this theme until Labor day. Also, a great
internet radio channel, Soma FM out of San Fran, has many channels with one being Left Coast 70's. Their version of YR. It's lots of rarities. They have a great
electro 80's channel as well.
Wish the Sirius channel would expand the line up, I've noticed the same rotation more than once, but I've been bumping it a lot lately. The Soma station is a bit better with variety, but if I'm not home, I forget about it.
Yeah, agree, but it isn't too distracting yet.
Oh....and just because it's 70's and/or soft rock doesn't mean "yacht rock". Pablo Cruise on.
This is the music they must play in the waiting rooms at the Ohio Cialis Doc-in-a-Box network.
I would hope so.
I'm digging it..it's on Sirius
Posting from the Guns n Roses concert..lol
Ha! You know good shit!
Haven't heard Christopher Cross yet.
