Howard claimed that "It was a big celebration this weekend because Beth's book made it on the NYT best sellers list". I thought it was reported here that she sold just a few hundred copies.

That's the only reason why Tucker Max's "I hope they serve beer in hell" made it into the NYT bestseller list and stayed there for a long time. It was put into the non-fiction category, even though it's clearly fiction for the most part. Compete in a category with low volume, and it's easier to make it in there, especially if your spouse has tons of money and a good agent.

A million copies sold didn't hurt Tucker either.

That's cheap to make it onto the NYT Bestseller List - pocket change for Howard.

Back in 2006 Opie and Anthony destroyed Tucker Maxx on air, once they start questioning his stories they immediately fall apart...
I don't believe a single thing the twat says, he's horrible.

I bought all his books, and he got a handful of sales from my friends group because I recommended them to them.

My main problem with him is that he keeps claiming that all the stories are 100% real. It doesn't fit with the guy when you see him talk. He lacks the charisma and lightning wit from the guy in the book. I also find it annoying that he keeps claiming that he invented a new literary genre called "Fratire". Come on, dude. It's a very funny book with interesting stories about sex with chicks and adventures with friends. That's hardly anything new. If he'd pipe the fuck down a little and be honest about his work, he'd be one of the coolest guys out there.

Case in point. He's a weak interviewee, has a weak personality, has a feminine voice, but is a good fiction writer with a smart sense of humor.

Well, Beth's book is number one with slow adults. It was written by one.

Look at the number of weeks the other books have been on the list. One's been on for 74 weeks

She's #1 on the list for slow adults with a wonky eye. Hard to top her in that category, the retarded competition got their crayons taken away.
