Like they are better than you. I work in Networking (Computers) About 11 years ago me and a friend started out door to door at businesses asking if they needed network or computer support. We both struggled to find work and we were good friends. After a while he got a job at a major service center doing desktop support over the phone on in the field. after a couple of months he told me about the job I have now which was great because his service center ran our switches routers etc.. We spent a lot of time hanging out on the phone and eating and what not discussing our jobs and helping each other. Well, the years go by and in the last couple of years we haven’t spoken much, business and family take up all our time. So, I have not really asked him for help in a very long time until today. I have tried to call him a few times and he doesnt answer his phone, ok hes a busy man. He runs a large network understandable. Well today i had a major network issue that I really needed some help with so I called the support number and asked to speak to him since he doesnt answer his cell. Well, he gets on the phone and right away I can tell hes annoyed by me tracking him down. He starts to tell me how nothing is wrong that it's my mistake instead of trying to help me like an old friend. He basically made it clear that he was brushing me off and that he is to important to bother any more i need to speak to his tech guys. I have to tell you, I feel pretty shitty. I'm not ashamed to say that I am hurt. I would have done anything i could to help him if this was reversed. Just goes to show you never really have any real friends you can count on.
