Anyone here ever heard of Compressorhead?
Well you have now.....
Finally a band Axl can control, and keep all the money
I probably would have believed it if you'd just told me actually
Cool. But what an enormous waste of money.
And surely they will eventually kill you.
I heard they actually put these things out on tour. Maybe they make some money back that way.
At the same time I think you're right.... I'll bet these things cost a small fortune to make and maintain. Why in the world would someone decide to spend that kind of money on a band made up of robots.... and without a singer to boot.
How come the camera can catch every fucking thing but chord changes? Because I didn't see any.
Those mofos got no soul.
I'd be afraid to see what their groupies look like.
Can't say that I know. After I ran across this I read a little about them. I think it's actually legit. I think they're the only ones playing - no backup players or tape running.
What I find really odd is when you watch them you hear the notes, you know the song, but there's one huge missing factor.... there's no soul in the music at all. That's the real miss.
I just couldn't help posting them. I've never seen or heard anything like it.
Do a quick youtube search on "AI, Robots" and you'll be shocked at what's being developed all over the place - especially Japan, of course.
Now see, that's funny!!!!
Like much of today's music.
Yep, it's a little sterile. I just was curious how they'd handling the motion of a hand sliding up and down the guitar neck. The bounce involved with sudden stops gave the people at Disney fits with their audio animatronics. My hunch is they use a seperate device for every string/fret where those yellow lines are plugged in.
That sounds completely plausible.
I mean that guitar looks like it's wired to blow. Too complicated for me.
Here's an oldie-but-goodie from a few years ago. Tumeni notes.
They will continue to be around for awhile. No egos to bruise, no attempts to go solo, no in-fighting or Yokos.
Question is, can they be out-sourced?
Does this speak more to how good the robots are or how ridiculously simple the Ramones' music is?
sounds like an octova
Their old stuff was better.
