I heard an advertisement on the radio (upstate NY) for a big Labor Day party... but the theme was "who cares if you don't have a job... come and have fun). Gosh.

OIL is the biggest scam. Russia attacks yet oil falls. Some wind blows and they raise it.

Look up the term fiat dollar. Oil is NOT moved by supply and demand for the most part. It is moved by the dollar. Now look at what's happening with the Petro Dollar.

Yes, 17 trillion in debt does matter.

    Fuck that.

I currently have six job openings at ~$60K per year, one opening at $80K and one at an even $100K. There is no shortage of lazy people not interested in working at those salary levels, but good people are scarce.

And the 20-something generation is the most spoiled and lazy group of humans to ever walk this Earth. They don't want to do SHIT and they're quick to tell you why.

I have called roughly ten people this week who submitted resumes for our openings, and not one has called back! They submit a resume and then don't communicate further when called. What the fuck do they want me to do when they don't even return the call from the boss?!

Heck, we would hire 5 Sales Reps at $140,000 per year if we could find them. Yes, we pay that much to good Salespeople. Can't find any willing to work. We pay several of our worst Sales Reps over $120K per year and they don't do shit.

This is no joke: I would send out five offer letters TODAY if these slugs would just call back. So don't tell me about how there are no jobs. People are fucking lazy these days.

This stat is really interesting to me, but I don't think it's happening for the reason people say. I think the real reason that the labor force is shrinking is because the country grows more wealthy, not because we're broke.

The government hands out money everywhere (which is borrowed money), and people live OK on handouts. People can live on one household income, not two incomes.

If this graph were directly tied to the economy, it would bounce back around 2011 or so. It's not bouncing even as jobs are showing up all over the place.
