It appears millions of e-mail account credentials for multiple providers have been obtained by a Russian hacker group (it's always those fucking Russians). I am here today to help you avoid problems if you are on the list. It's simple and requires very little effort on your part. Enable 2-factor authentication for every account you have that allows for it. I've suggested this many times in the past but we are in a period of unprecedented breaches and it time to protect yourselves if you haven't already. Amazon, Dropbox, Google, lastpass, Microsoft, Apple, paypal. They all support 2-factor. 2-factor adds a challenge to your login even if you enter the correct password. You can usually have them text you a code that you have to enter or you can use an authenticator app like authy or Google authenticator to generate codes that change every 30 seconds. When these hackers get your password it will be impossible for them to know your secret, ever changing code and they won't be able to fuck you. Google it or search for it on the service of your choice. It'll only take a few minutes. You can also refer to this site to see if your accounts have been found in a breach. https://haveibeenpwned.com This has been another DbD help thread.
