My father waited for such a long time for the Rangers to win that cup because the Islanders(who I can't hate) dominated for a long time. That place was just a loud party and as a kid, it was too much to take in haha! I can close my eyes to this day, and hear that night. I ended up skating on that same MSG ice years later. *edit* And thank God my father was around to see it!* What's everyone else's most poignant sports memory as a kid?
