(Reuters) - Google Inc's (GOOGL.O) YouTube unit has tentatively agreed to distribute the Sony Pictures film "The Interview," at the center of a destructive cyber attack, offering online rentals beginning on Thursday, CNN reported.

The Internet release of the film would coincide with the movie's showing at a small number of U.S. movie theaters, CNN reported, citing sources with direct knowledge of the talks. The deal could still fall apart, CNN said.

Representatives for YouTube, Google and Sony were not immediately available for comment.

This is a bad . They made the decision to shut it down, well do it. Now the public is backing a shitty movie idea under the guise of free speech or some other sort of take away of an American freedom when it's all about potential money loss to Sony. Then Obama talks about how he would have "done it differently" and thus sanctioning Sony to change it's mind and release the movie. If something happens it's now on the US and not Sony.....we are becoming total SAPS to big $ and getto logic.

I loved when the Berlin wall fell and also loved when Tenimin Square got squashed. Life is a ying and yang....back and forth....you need balance because an imbalance when something is to easy means everyone will do it and we hasten our return to the stoneage.

Best PR stunt ever. This movie will probably break records, because every "American" wants to show that we won't be told what we can watch.

Oh, I never wanted to see it before, and still don't. It's not about backing a movie and giving it more PR than it deserved, it's about doing the right thing. It'll all blow over, it won't make a ton of $$, and Shitface Mc KimSung will never again get good streaming rates for his Goat Porn.
