Gods of War Japo Style
Makers of Dark Souls and Bloodbourne... so it'll be much harder than GoW. Hopefully I can make it longer than the 30 minutes I lasted in Dark souls 3... 1st boss is unbeatable to me. Closest I came was about half his energy... tapped out and uninstalled waste of 30 bucks but that's life
A DOS classic.
With sounds even!!
Love them! Going to be sad once I'm done with them all. And yea I'm impressed with the graphics they could fool me for a PS4 game easily.
No worries bub, I'll buy it, you've given me so much I feel bad now! haha
Grabbing Elex. Looks like a cool RPG.
Pretty big PS Sale on now.
What game is this?
Hey @Snort , what console do you have Odyssey for? I saw you mention the game earlier in this thread and it looks intriguing. Any insight you’d be willing to share about the game would be greatly appreciated buberino.
It's probably my 2nd fave ever. Xbox One.
You play as either Alexios or Kassandra who are brother and sister and descendent of Leonidis former king of Sparta.
Something happens where you "get shunned" from Sparta and lose your family.
You then start the game. You are searching for your father/mother and brother or sister depending.
It has great characters. Great voice acting. Great graphics.
The gameplay itself is as smooth as any I've played. You can hit a fucker with a crushing sword combo and transition to the bow and arrow and light him up in a fraction of a second.
The world is totally open and massive but never daunting.
There are 6 or 8 key chpices that will influence your game getting you to one of a bunch of endings.
There is tons of content tons. Main Odyssey quests alone will be probably 60 hours easily to 100 with fucking off and side quest.
The DLC whixh I've just started his badass so far.
It has many famous people from ancient Greece.
There is naval combat. You upgrade your ship in many ways.
The skill tree is awesome with tons of abilities to get as you level up.
There are mercenaries that start to hunt you as your "bad meter" goes up. They are always tough and fun to fight and give off great loot.
There are legendary creatures animals and monsters to fight.
And there is a cult to uncover and hunt down.
You have a horse you can call to get around quicker and an eagle to search for and tag enemies and chests etc.
There is a little about it. 10/10
Thank you so much! Have you noticed that the PS4 version has a significantly lower overall percentage?
Nah it'll be the same game. Ps4 Slim and the One S are the same system basically.
Check the PS Store as they may have it on sale. They have a "great indoors" sale now lol.
Didn't mention tons and tons of different weapon types. Swords, ax, spear, dagger, staff, etc.
Different armor too. Each piece offers different bonuses there's head gear, chest plate, arm, legs, and shoes all giving up to 4 bonuses that get better as you progress.
Only don't expect it to be that great at start... it's a true RPG so it takes a few hours to start leveling up and getting the skill tree open to all the cool shit. Though the sword fighting is 10/10 from the start.
No block button. You either parry or dodge. And a perfect parry or dodge will earn you adrenaline whixh is used to use your abilities.
I would HIGHLY suggest you but the XP multiplier for 10 bucks. It gives you 1.5X the XP... Honestly that's probably the proper level as without it it does take a while to level up.
If you get it on sale (was 17 bucks last week on Xbox) it'll still be well worth it.
I actually paid for in game purchases.... had never done that before. Got that XP multiplier, the maps pack and the 1.5X gold (the Gold you really don't need maps either I suppose you can look online) not to mention swords and armor. I probably spent an additional 30 or 40 bucks... but we'll worth it imo.
