I don't get it why not just use a grill and put a flat top type of extension on it

    I have the 28 inch.

Do breakfast almost every weekend on it.

    Do smash burgers regularly.

    10/10 would buy again.

I'd like one to play around with. I imagine that long-handled grill tools and some long leather gloves would be in order.

I have a scraper to use whilst cooking, then you just clean it like a cast iron pan. Re-season after every use or two to keep it non-stick, or just cook some bacon every few days and use bacon fat to season it :pig:

Not to worry @gwartney I'm here to help you out. I appreciate @FtT helping out and answering the question. It's too bad that @FeettoTaste isn't around anymore. He was a great chap.

Having a Blackstone is addictive. Once you start cooking on it you'll love it and be doing a ton of things on it. As Feet said cooking breakfast is awesome on it. Smashed burgers are also tasty.

I have the 28" one and think it is plenty of space. Hell i have the portable 17" tailgate blackstone and that fits a lot of shit on it. I'd bypass the 36" one as it will be overkill and pricier.

If you get a Blackstone a cover is a must. I was using the vinyl cover which i hated. I upgraded to the metal top and that thing is amazing. Best $60 i spent.

I saw Walmart has a Blackstone with a built-in cover and a side burner and fryer. It costs about $400. You can fry some fries while making burgers. Plus it comes with side tables.
