This is from the Radar Online article:

“No really, I’m done,” Stern insisted. “Two years and I’m out of here.”

“Two years” means it’s phoney attention whoring or poor me bull crap.

IMHO Howard's show changed when he became part of a free 90 day entertainment package with every new car sold in America. No offense. He became marketable to people who would be offended by the old show. Like my sister who is now a rabid fan.

Booey & Hein in the Morning - Wig Reruns on 100 after the show and all day on 101.

I could see that. Wig still takes a cut, channels stay, Wig stays home and jerks off. Win for him. Not sure if it's a win for the listeners.

MONEY GRAB,. pure and simple. probably wants to keep going and make as much as he is now, but reduce the show to 2 days a week or stay at 3 days, but cut the show from 4 hours to 2 or 3 max.

That’s not really what he said. He said doing the show is impacting his health and he thinks he’s done in two years.

I do think he will retire in two years but today was not a retirement announcement, just the normal Monday morning bitching session.

And in other shocking stories, the Howard 100 News crew was all fired, and Artie Lange will not be coming back.

You'll be disappointed but here ya go:

Howard SternOpens a New Window. is retiring from radio after 35 epic years on air, RadarOnline.com has learned.

The media mogul shocked fans Monday morning, April 15, when he announced that he would be signing off The Stern Show after his contract is up in 2020.

“When I get out of radio. I’m getting out man. I’m pretty sure I’m almost out the door,” Stern, 65, told his longtime cohost, Robin QuiversOpens a New Window.. “I’m getting out anyway because I realize that radio is affecting my health. When I’m home on the weekends I’m fine.”

“And then what happens?” Quivers asked.

“And then when I come here all kinds of s**t happens. I won’t get into all the details, but I get all f**king anxious, and medical issues. I’m getting out,” Stern doubled down.

He then joked to Quivers that she could stay on with Fred Norris — Stern’s longest tenured staff member on the show.

“No really, I’m done,” Stern insisted. “Two years and I’m out of her

This isn’t the first time the Shock Jock has spoken out about his health issues.

In 2017, he scared fans when he took an unconventional sick day away from the showOpens a New Window..

“I took a sick day and I’m still sick,” he explained following his return.

Just last spring, Stern hinted at retirement when he revealed that he was no longer happy producing his radio showOpens a New Window..

“I’m just one of these human beings, I’ve accepted, [who] is just miserable all the time. And work makes me miserable.” Stern said.

He should just GO already. It's sad that when Howard Stern does retire he might have a couple die-hards following him, but he will probably end up begging people to follow him. They chose to sit on their butts and eat ice cream.

Slow news day at the old Radaronline studios. To quote their own article, he said "I’m pretty sure I’m almost out the door".

If someone is 'pretty sure' that they are 'almost' anything that is two years away, I don't think that is news.

Throw in that he also says it 10 times a week, not sure it warrants a news story.
