I want a 45 and something I can carry and conceal fairly easy.I like the compacts but dont really dig the small grip.

I shot a 45 for the first time a few months ago at the range. I hope an intruder likes getting shot in the left shoulder, it seems that my proclivity was to shoot there instead of anywhere else. :jj:

when I think of small and compact, I don't think of a Kimber. M&P would be good. Can't beat a glock.

If you can't keel a MFer with a solid 9mm or 40cal, with 15 in the clip....you probably shouldn't survive anyway

I love my LCP. Truly compact and concealable. Not much stopping power but if I need more than seven shots, I might as well throw it and run.

If you get a 1911 style pistol like the Kimber be prepared to practice alot with it. They're very accurate, easy to shoot guns but the fact that there's a safety and that you keep it locked and cocked demands that you practice with it.

No shit, Chigs? I would have thought pot would be the culprit and you'd drop the gun and fall asleep promptly. ;)
