I’ll smoke a cig once or twice a year. This thread is actually making me want one.

Yeah I know how it is for you nicotine fiends. I tried to get hooked. Smoked like a fool from 18-26 but always ranged from a few a day to maybe a pack. Depended on how I felt, or if it was freezing out, or whatever else. I never got hooked.

Used to love searching for subliminal images in cig ads when I was a kid.

I got shitfaced with my brothers over the holidays and ended up smoking about a half pack over the course of the evening and immensely enjoyed them. I hadn't had a smoke in years (quit in '12) and haven't missed them but something about that satisfying hit of smoke/nicotine to your lungs is pure satisfaction...Thank God I can leave them alone these days (for the most part).

    Last cig was 12/31/94.

    Always Marb Reds.

I don’t miss them at all.

I was a complete fiend; started smoking at 12 :nojj:

I was able to do that, too. I would also go through depression phases where I would chain smoke for a couple of months, then just decide I was done and walk away from it. I finally just cut tobacco out of my life over 10 years ago; no withdrawal, cravings, etc.

I've never smoked, both of my parents did.
in the 60's I'd ride my Schwinn Sting Ray to the corner store for my mom and with one dollar get her 2 Chesterfield Regulars and
    1 Winston for my dad.
